Pool Screen Contractor Terms
Overview
EEffective Date: October 7, 2025
Florida Pool Screens (“FLPS,” “we,” or “us”) partners with licensed and insured pool screen and enclosure contractors (“you” or “the contractor”) to connect them with local homeowners searching for pool screen repair, rescreening, and related services.
These Contractor Terms outline how our lead generation and advertising program operates, how funds are used, and what expectations apply to both parties. By participating in our contractor program, you agree to the following terms.
1. Program Purpose
The goal of our lead program is to help Florida-based pool screen professionals reach local homeowners through targeted Google Ads and website placement on FLPoolScreens.com.
All homeowner inquiries generated through these campaigns are shared only with trusted, properly licensed and insuredcontractors who have opted into our program.
2. Campaign Funding
Contractors fund individual ad campaigns with an upfront contribution, typically between $100–$1,000 per campaign depending on market size and goals.
All ad funds are applied toward active Google Ads campaigns targeting your selected service area.
Florida Pool Screens may charge a setup or management fee between $75 and $200 depending on campaign scope and service area (city or county). This fee covers ad creation, keyword targeting, landing page setup, and lead tracking.
Ad performance varies by keyword competition, seasonality, and homeowner demand.
Campaign Duration:
Campaigns run until the allocated ad budget is fully spent. Actual duration depends on factors like keyword costs, search volume, and location demand. Smaller budgets may run for a few days, while larger budgets can extend over several weeks.
3. No Guarantee of Leads or Sales
While we aim to generate high-quality, local homeowner leads, results are not guaranteed. Lead counts, conversions, and total campaign outcomes depend on factors outside of our control, including search demand, ad costs, and contractor responsiveness.
All campaign funds and setup/management fees are non-refundable once campaigns begin.
Performance reports or ad metrics can be provided upon request for full transparency.
4. Referral Commissions
When a homeowner obtained through FLPS completes a paid project with you, you agree to pay a 10% referral commission based on the total contract value.
The contractor agrees to provide reasonable proof of project completion (e.g., job invoice or signed estimate) for internal tracking and homeowner loyalty programs.
Commission payments are due within 7 days of job completion and can be made via Stripe, PayPal, or Zelle.
5. Lead Distribution & Non-Exclusivity
This program is non-exclusive. FLPS may work with multiple contractors in overlapping areas.
However, FLPS aims to minimize overlap by rotating or prioritizing top-performing contractors. Contractors with strong communication and lead conversion rates may receive priority or partial exclusivity in their chosen service areas.
6. Licensing, Insurance & Conduct
Contractors must:
Maintain active state or county business licensing and required liability insurance while participating in the program.
Provide documentation of licensing or insurance upon request.
Contact homeowners promptly after receiving a lead.
Maintain professional communication and service quality.
Failure to maintain valid credentials, respond to leads, or conduct business professionally may result in suspension or termination from the program.
7. Relationship
This partnership does not constitute employment, joint venture, or agency. Contractors are independent businessesresponsible for their own licensing, insurance, and client relationships.
FLPS provides marketing and lead generation services only and does not perform or guarantee any physical work.
8. Limitation of Liability
Florida Pool Screens (FLPS) is not responsible for the performance, conduct, or outcomes of any contractor or homeowner. FLPS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits or business interruption — arising out of participation in this program. Contractors agree to hold FLPS harmless from any claims, disputes, or damages related to work performed for homeowners obtained through this platform.
9. Indemnification
Contractors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Florida Pool Screens (FLPS), its owners, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of services performed for homeowners, advertising content, or misuse of homeowner information obtained through this program.
10. Data Privacy Compliance
Florida Pool Screens complies with applicable privacy laws and only collects homeowner data for the purpose of connecting users with local licensed contractors. Contractors agree not to resell, share, or misuse homeowner information provided through this program. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination and removal from future participation.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved in Pinellas County, Florida.
12. Amendments
Florida Pool Screens reserves the right to update or modify these Contractor Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued participation in the program after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Termination
Either party may end participation in the program at any time with written notice. Any active campaigns will continue running until ad funds are exhausted.
